<\/p>\n
But this routine was hardly humdrum \u2013 why it\u2019s camp, of\u00a0course!\u00a0 We started the day with silent breakfast, where (almost) not a word was said, yet the orange juice, eggs, and cereal were still passed. \u00a0Down the hill at Dan Hole Pond, we welcomed sailors, fishers, paddle-boarders, swimmers, junior lifeguards, canoers, and water acrobats to the waterfront for as long as the sun was shining.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Perhaps one of the longest walks to make here at MV is from the waterfront to the council circle \u2013 and that is exactly where the end of the day then took us for an evening of song around the campfire at Low Council.\u00a0 There\u2019s simply nothing like a good Council!<\/p>\n

Back in my day we would have called today a \u201cBest Day Ever.\u201d\u00a0 Well, some things never change!\u00a0 Here\u2019s to more BDE\u2019s to come \u2013 stay tuned,<\/p>\n
