Madelyn Cook is an enthusiastic teacher, researcher, and builder of positive community with experience teaching at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate level. Madelyn holds a bachelor in chemistry and environmental studies from Kenyon College and a doctor of philosophy in earth and environmental sciences from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.<\/p>\n
Though Madelyn is a recent addition to the year-round team at the American Youth Foundation, she is no stranger to the sand dunes of Miniwanca or the mountains of Merrowvista. She first joined the AYF community during the summer of 2005 as a Miniwanca Girls Camper and continued to participate in camp and\u00a0 Four Trails programming at Miniwanca. Madelyn continued her journey through the AYF as a participant in the National Leadership Conference and a seasonal staff member, working her way from Leader-in-Training to Seasonal Program Coordinator for more than 200 middle school-aged campers.<\/p>\n
