Welcome back to the blog. Today we started this beautiful golden day off with Morning Stretch led by Explorers on Adventure Daringly. They talked about going into their growth zones and trying new things as they are about to head out on their first trip &#8211; hiking at Pictured Rocks! We also all danced to the Rocketgizer of 500 miles. Campers then headed to a tasty breakfast of pancakes, bacon, and fruit. Fueled up for their day they headed out to CORE and Interest Groups 1 and 2. Sailing had some perfect winds out on Stony Lake while in the Crafthouse campers made fascinating bracelets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #333333;\">With much joy, the community rushed to the Eating Lodge for lunchtime TACO TUESDAY! We all sang our taco song and enjoyed a magnificent meal. After, campers had Rest Hour followed by Quad Games \u2013 toppleball, kickball, newcome, and captain ball this week. The afternoon Interest Groups were full of more fun, games, and laughter as campers sailed and paddle boarded, crafted and did yoga, made projects in the woodshop and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #333333;\">After a fun Free Time hour, it was dinner and campers filled their bodies with chicken stir fry, egg rolls, and cupcakes for dessert. Tonight\u2019s Nights Doings included an energetic game of the Amazing Race where the campers raced from location to location around camp answering questions, singing songs, and playing games. The \u00ad\u00ad\u00adRidges pulled out amazing win. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #333333;\">To close our night, we ended on the beach with Evening Reflection by the Trailblazers on the theme of adventuring daringly. They reflected on what the theme means to them as they go through middle school and look forward to their first Four Trails trip. Tonight the sunset was as beautiful as the people here at Miniwanca.
