Today\u2019s theme of Positive Community served as a perfect reminder for both campers and staff alike here at Miniwanca.\u00a0 As the end of the week approached, our community reflected on what it means to be a helpful, contributing member while here at camp.\u00a0 Respect towards others and their belongings, stewardship of common spaces, and giving others authentic praise were just a few examples of how we build and maintain a positive community.\u00a0 We also strive to take these learned behaviors with us once we leave Miniwanca, in order to build positive communities all over the world.<\/p>\n
The reflective practices were balanced with some good ol\u2019 physical fold activities as well today.\u00a0 Campers enjoyed a hike to the Well Site for a swim in Lake Michigan.\u00a0 After returning and eating a delicious dinner, a raucous round of WankaCart had Quads racing for victory.\u00a0 Everyone was good and tired as we heading back to the bays for cabin check and lights out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
